Britney Spears blames Dusty Carr for “internal demons”

Los Angeles, California, February 25, 2008 (AVI) – Calling him “totally evil” and “Satan on earth”, pop star Britney Spears claims singer Dusty Carr is solely responsible for her “internal demons.”

In a far ranging interview with LA Weekly Times Revue, the troubled Spears said most of her problems began two years ago when she let Dusty Carr into her life. “I’m not going to lie and say that he pursued me,” she admits. “I was the aggressor. I wanted his knowledge. I wanted to know how he had stayed alive for so long while taking such huge amounts of drugs.”

Reached in Reno, Nevada, where he’s performing all month at the Coco Boom, Carr said that over the past year, Spears called him “at least once a week, demanding insights into my psychology and general health.” The iconic entertainer said he “dispensed advice like a junkie pharmacist.”

In July, 2006, Carr took Spears to New York City, for a weekend of—what the Village Voice later described as—“depravity so all-consuming and aggressive, it made a Roman vomitorium appear as little more than a daycare center.”

Well known for his drug and alcohol abuse, Carr has never apologized for his lifestyle and, in fact, never discourages others to follow his example. “I told Britney that in order to handle drugs, you have to be willing to feel ill, get possible fluid on the lungs, experience wild weight fluctuations, and have an interest in shaving your head. She said fine, so I told her about my dark dreams…and I took her deep into my dark rooms.”

Carr said that he has prayed every night, between sold-out sets, for Britney’s recovery. “It becomes very obvious to me when someone can not handle the juice, and they’re getting sloppy and giving us all a bad name. Britney has the constitution of a hamster. She should dump weight, cut drugs, and love her children more than herself. Never, freakin’ ever go into the laboratory of life unless you’re prepared to die. That gives you strength, and it’s that kind of attitude that keeps you sharp as a razor.”
